Through serious engagement with theory and history, Samantha Neat is interested in how the contemporary built environment can best meet the needs of those within it while providing both sustainable and delightful design. Sam joined JKRP after receiving her Master’s of Architecture from the University of Kentucky CoD, where she was a mentor and teaching assistant for courses on the history and theory of architecture and a board member of AIAS. Most recently, her design work was featured in the book Thinking: Alternative Designs for Offices, published by Non Architecture. When not at the office, Sam can most likely be found reading a book and/or eating cereal.
