George joined JKRP after working at a small architecture firm in NYC. He is looking forward to all the different project opportunites that JKRP Architects offers. Originally from Nutley, NJ, he enoys deep sea fishing and surfing with his Yellow Labrador, Brody, at the Jersey Shore. He loves world travelling and home renovation projects, a hobby he shares with many at JKRP! In both the winter and summer, George partakes in sports of all kinds, but is most active in soccer, snowboarding, and basketball.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Skydiving and surfing with lemon sharks are at the top of my list, but it probably won’t end there.
Do you have any unusual skills or talents?
I can juggle. There was a juggling club in Bryant Park every day that I learned from and practiced with on my lunch break when I worked in NYC.
Favorite office supply?
Binder clips. They help keep my snacks fresh!
Favorite TV show?
Game of Thrones for current, Hey Arnold to reminisce.
Favorite Christmas song?
“All I Want for Christmas” - Mariah Carey. Don’t think any other Christmas song sets the mood as this one.
Favorite body of water?
Had an amazing trip to Thailand and Indonesia, so I’d have to say Indian Ocean off Bali’s coast because I’m an avid surfer and they were the best waves I pursued. Gulf of Thailand was clear and tropical where I had a great scuba experience.
Thing you like most about architecture?
Constantly evolving in every field of design.
You’re forced to carry around a boombox for the rest of your life and you can only play one song. What song do you pick?
I’d prefer to stand in yards with it over my head blasting “Jump” by Van Halen.
