The Braverman Building gets its name from the hardware store and bakery that once
occupied the property.  The 5-story building includes 16 one- and two-bedroom apartments above the first floor commercial space.  The building is approximately 3700 sf per floor. This new addition to Brewerytown in northwest Philadelphia the first contemporary building Girard Avenue has seen in decades.  Although it is contemporary, the building utilizes the same urban principles that have made Girard Ave. the successful retail street it has always been.
