Chestnut & Broad

Philadelphia, PA

JKRP Architects were the architects on record for the Capital Grille and Olive Garden, establishments comprising the corner block of the Avenue of the Arts Renaissance and Chestnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. To create The Capital Grille, we modified the prototypical design of Neimitz Design Group to create a luxurious and unusual space. The Olive Garden, among the chain’s first endeavors into an urban market, incorporates the restaurant’s complex requirements into an unusual building footprint including a renovated facade along with a new entrance, lobby, and roof deck. We also worked in close coordination with two of the tenants – The West Elm store, occupying the ground floor, and Lucky Strike Lanes, occupying the upper floors.
