Get to Know

What is your favorite place you’ve traveled to?
Montreal, Quebec City, Canada. While Montreal is home to many architecturally significant buildings and structures, I was personally drawn to the Jean-Talon Market in the city’s Mont-Royal district. Its modernist-market design, open-air character, urban-integration all speak to the place’s cultural significance and has become one of my favorite examples of ‘urban-market’ architecture.
Favorite architectural material or detail?
Brick and Terracotta. CEPT University in Ahmedabad, India by the architect Balkrishna Doshi is a perfect example of how the humble brick and terracotta can create beautiful and impactful spaces.
What’s a hobby or interest outside of work?
Cooking. I love to cook for my loved ones and host dinner parties!
What’s your favorite building in Philadelphia?
The Atheneum of Philadelphia.
