Staff Designer
0-2 years experience
JKRP Architects, a 60 person architecture and design firm is seeking a highly qualified individual with 0-4 years experience to join our growing team. Our office covers a wide variety of project types including multi-family residential, entertainment, restaurant, and commercial retail work. Our staff is integral in all aspects of the design process, from inception through completion. The ideal candidate is able to manage their clients and their team, and is confident, ambitious and organized. They must possess a desire to take on multiple tasks and responsibilities. A have fun, but get’er done attitude is imperative. Candidate must be proficient in Revit, AutoCad, and the typical Microsoft office applications, and have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Experience in Sketchup, Enscape, and adobe products is a plus. The candidate must have an architectural degree from an accredited college or university. Registration preferred. Marketing Manager

Role:
JKRP Architects is looking for a qualified individual to plan, organize, and lead the marketing efforts of the firm.
Qualifications:
- – Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
- – At least 3 years of experience as a marketing professional
- – Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- – Thrives in a team environment
- – The ideal candidate should be organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively market our services, culture, and expertise in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- – Marketing Strategy: coordinate directly with our residential, retail, and entertainment management teams to develop thoughtful and targeted content to secure new and maintain existing client relationships. The marketing manager will work closely with the in-house graphic designer to develop a variety of print and digital communications for each market and the firm.
- – Website: make sure website is up to date with latest projects, staff profiles, and news
- – Social media and email marketing: maintain high visibility on all social platforms. Stay current with latest events, project status, and engage with our audience. Develop quarterly newsletters and email marketing campaigns.
- – Proposals and Qualification packages: work with project leads to create custom proposals and qualification packages for new work.
- – Presentations: develop custom presentation for new client and consultant pitch meetings. Work with project teams to create various community zoning presentations.
- – Project Photography & Videography: coordinate and schedule professional photography and/or videos when projects are completed. Coordinate with project teams to gather in-house documentation of construction process.
- – Brand Recognition: maintain consistency in fonts, colors, logo use, etc. on all communications. Coordinate with project teams so that all active projects have job signs posted on site. When participating in trade shows, make sure JKRP is well represented with appropriate marketing materials.
- – Promotional Material & JKRP Swag: Create custom brochures, banners, holiday cards, business cards, project boards, etc. Design & order JKRP branded merchandise as necessary.
- – Organizations, Ads, Sponsorships, & Events: coordinate with vertical market leads to make sure JKRP is represented and participating in relevant organizations. Provide ads and sponsorships. Keep a detailed calendar of external events and opportunities.
- – Publications & Award Submissions: work with vertical market teams to create thought leadership content, reach out to appropriate editors to try and get content published or featured in an article. Submit projects for architectural awards when opportunities arise.

BIM Manager
4+ years experience
Job Description
- – Evaluate current BIM organizational structure and improve as needed to ensure that it supports firm productivity goals and aligns with firm culture of design quality.
- – Assess current methods and provide recommendation for improvement (both immediate and developing overall strategy)
- – Identify strategic goals and lead quality BIM project delivery.
- – Meet regularly with disciplinary Revit User Groups, obtain knowledge of JKRP BIM practices, assess and address needs and concerns.
- – Coordinate development and maintenance of firm-wide BIM standards.
- – Lead and guide development, maintenance, and management of discipline Revit templates.
- – Manage and maintain quality and interoperability of discipline content libraries.
- – Automate routines in BIM to support standards, productivity, and efficiency.
- – Define and perform quality assurance/quality control standards and reviews for BIM models.
- – Assist in the development of a discipline coordination process and manage the clash detection/resolution process.
- – Lead in-house training, including roll-out of new software features, script routines, collaborative processes, and implementation of firm standards.
- – Training and onboarding of new staff and continuing education for current staff regarding Revit and good BIM procedures.
Minimum Candidate Requirements:
- – Professional degree in architecture.
- – 5+ years’ experience in BIM/CAD management or in design/drafting
- – Extensive knowledge of A/E/C industry processes and typical design project life cycle.
- – Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and BlueBeam.
- – Scripting / Dynamo experience preferred
- – Working knowledge of Revit support software, including Solibri, Navisworks Manage, and BIMLink.
- – Working knowledge of current Microsoft Office software, including Word, and Excel.
- – A strong sense of accountability, a self-starter, a proactive approach to management, detail oriented and a desire to strive for continuous improvement are a must.

Business Development Specialist
5+ years experience
The Business Development Specialist would be responsible for managing existing and new client relationships. They will identify and target new business as well as implement focused strategies for growth of the firm, which focuses on Retail, Entertainment, Multi-family Residential and Healthcare work. The Business Development Specialist would work with the Marketing Team in networking opportunities and project proposals. The Business Development Specialist will report directly to JKRP’s management team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- – Organize, plan, schedule and manage the firm’s sales efforts
- – Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations and business associates
- – Maintain a high profile in professional, business and community organizations
- – Initiate and develop contact with potential clients
- – Work with principals to secure new clients and projects
- – Seek business opportunities for the firm
- – Research and gather information on potential clients and projects
- – Develop and maintain a strong business network
- – Determine sales objectives to meet firmwide goals
- – Manage client contact and satisfaction program
- – Track BD opportunities via CRM
- – Work with our marketing team to determine marketing objectives to meet firmwide goals
QUALIFICATIONS:
- – Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of marketing/business development experience within the AEC industry
- – Current and continuing right to work in the United States
- – Successful experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities
- – Strong networking skills to develop leads and new business relationships
- – Excellent verbal, written communication, and listening skills
