Richard Stewart, AIA

Rick has been a crucial part of our firm since joining us in 2004 and has focused most of his time in the entertainment industry managing various projects from new builds, to renovations, refurbishments and recliner conversions.  From working in upstate New York to Virginia and beyond, Rick has worked in most of the east coast states on various projects sizes and complexities. Through this experience, he has gained a wealth of knowledge about the industry, the operations of the theaters, restaurants, and the significance of keeping the design new and exciting to help draw in movie-goers. As the industry has evolved, so has the design approach, and while working for multiple different theater operators, he has been able to provide exciting and comfortable spaces for enthusiastic movie lovers to those looking to take advantage of the combination of dining and watching a movie.

When not in the office or visiting sites on the East Coast, Rick spends his spare time corralling his two young sons, building custom furniture and millwork in his garage and designing and building theater sets where he volunteers at the local Stagecrafters Theater in Chestnut Hill.
