Since joining JKRP Architects in 2018, Stephanie has gained experience across a range of project types, including multifamily, restaurants, and family entertainment centers. Her experience has given her a broad understanding of the architectural process and the many people and disciplines that contribute to a successful project. She is actively involved in mentorship, professional development, and community outreach initiatives at the firm, with a particular interest in supporting the growth of emerging designers. Outside of work, Stephanie can usually be found with a good book, something baking in the oven, or spending time with her mentee through Big Brothers Big Sisters.

What’s a hobby or interest outside of work?
I have a surprisingly large number of craft hobbies. I love learning something new, figuring out how to do it well, and then moving on to the next creative challenge.
Dogs, cats, both, or neither?
I grew up convinced I was a dog person and didn't even like cats. Somehow, I became the unofficial caretaker of my block's alley cats, became completely obsessed with them, and eventually adopted one of them last year and named him Fig.
What’s one piece of career advice you live by?
Everyone has something to contribute to a project and something to learn, regardless of their experience level. Share what you know, even while you're still learning yourself. You don't have to be the most experienced person in the room to help someone else grow.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Probably snorkeling between the tectonic plates in Iceland in 39°F water. I've also swum with two types of sharks and snorkeled with manatees, so I've had a few memorable adventures underwater.
Education
- Bachelor of Architecture, Syracuse University, 2018
