Originally opened in 1959 as Cheltenham Mall, Green Leaf at Cheltenham represents the transformation of a traditional enclosed shopping mall into a contemporary open-air retail destination. In response to changing retail patterns and evolving site circulation, JKRP reimagined the center through a comprehensive “de-malling” strategy that improved connectivity for both vehicles and pedestrians. The redevelopment included a complete renovation and rebranding of the property, creating a more accessible and engaging shopping environment that better serves the surrounding community.
