After years of vacancy, the former Lit Brothers Department Store at the corner of Cottman and Castor Avenues was redeveloped into a multi-tenant retail destination. JKRP reconfigured the 150,000 SF building into three retail spaces while introducing new entrances and signage along both the front and rear façades, restoring the building’s connection to pedestrians and motorists alike. A new glass-enclosed lobby serves as a central arrival space, providing access to the upper level via new escalators and creating a welcoming entry sequence for shoppers.
