Bob has been with JKRP since 1995 and a principal in the firm since 2002. With client service paramount in his approach, he has successfully designed and managed various types and scales of projects ranging from residential to entertainment. Bob’s design focus is the creation of architecture beyond simple function – architecture that elicits emotion, whether it’s excitement, awe, contemplation or comfort. While Bob is involved in retail, multi-family, and student housing projects, Bob’s primary scope of work has been the creation of public spaces for assembly, entertainment, and hospitality. Representative projects include cinemas incorporated into large mixed-use complexes in Washington D.C., standalone multiplex cinemas, and mixed-use entertainment venues combining cinema, bowling, lounges, and restaurants.
