JKRP was tasked with renovating the former Port Richmond Village. Now known as Fishtown Crossing, the existing shopping center has a contemporary new look with updated façade treatments, 2 new construction buildings along Aramingo Ave, improved landscaping with a central picnic area, and EV charging stations. With a roughly 130,00 sf of existing retail and 12,000 sf of new construction, one of the challenges was creating a new modern style tenant building and Starbucks drive thru that stood on their own while also maintaining cohesion with the rest of the center. This was achieved by playing with similar color and materials and incorporating some of the new materials into the façade redesign of the existing center. Key tenants include an IGA grocery store, Starbucks, Nifty Fifty’s, T-Mobile, Honeygrow, Pep Boys, Game Stop, Dollar Tree, Wing Stop, and more.
