JKRP partnered with Kimco Realty to reposition the former Macy’s department store at Suburban Square in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, creating a mixed-use destination for Life Time and West Elm. The existing building was divided to accommodate both tenants while preserving and restoring its historic façade. Renovations included new windows and storefronts, entrances and entrance canopies, exterior lighting and graphics, rooftop terraces, and new elevators. A shared landscaped courtyard creates a welcoming gathering space between the two tenants, enhancing the pedestrian experience and providing a new destination within the shopping center.
