After 5 years of working in the Philadelphia area on large-scale hospitality, healthcare and aviation projects, Jen joined JKRP in 2012. Over the past 10 years, she has helped to facilitate over 1.5 million square feet of construction, including over 1,400 residential units and almost 250,000 square feet of retail space.
Jen has primarily managed mid-rise and high-rise podium design and construction for mixed-use, multi-family residential projects, including The LVL North (410 units, approximately 400,000 SF), a mixed-use development that is currently the largest wood-framed modular building on the East Coast.
Jen has also worked on the Next LVL (4233 Chestnut Street, 285 units, 200,000 SF), The LVL North, (510 North Broad Street, 410 units, 400,000 SF), The LVL West (4301 Chestnut Street, 275 units), and LVL on Market (352 units, 420,000 SF). Jen works extensively with clients, design teams, and contractors to resolve challenging site conditions, coordinate between multiple prime contracts and trades, and successfully carry projects through challenging regulatory processes, including complicated zoning requirements for variances and Board of Building Standards approvals.
Jen also worked on the adaptive reuse of J-Centrel, a recipient of a 2022 Preservation Achievement Grand Jury Award (3400 J Street, 116 units, 154,000 SF), located in Philadelphia’s Harrowgate neighborhood. The former William Brown Hosiery Mill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Jen worked alongside the project team to obtain state and federal historic tax credits to transform the industrial mill into affordable workspaces, residences, and retail spaces.
Her portfolio also consists of government, healthcare, senior living, passive-house, single-family, and retail projects.
Since 2017, Jen enjoys organizing JKRP’s volunteer service projects, including activities for the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service each January. In 2022, she partnered with a small group of local New Jersey residents and neighbors to found a community non-profit organization, Collingswood Civic Collective, focused on promoting historic preservation and fostering community involvement.
In her spare time, Jen enjoys fundraising for local animal rescue organizations, tacos, college football, campfires, traveling with her husband and two Boston terriers, Bodie and Rooie, the Oxford comma, and an ice-cold Arnold Palmer.
