J-Centrel

Located in the Harrowgate neighborhood of Philadelphia on a re-energized section of Kensington Avenue along the Market-Frankford El corridor, J-centrel mixes modern, restored, affordable workspaces, residences, and retail space designed to collectively enhance the live and work experience. The spaces and studios are thoughtfully developed for a diverse and creative community and designed to fit with the fabric of the neighborhood.
The site itself consists of 2 large warehouses that create a courtyard in the middle. The courtyard is open to the public. The building is on the historic register and all of the windows on the exterior faces have been replaced with historically accurate replacements.
