Hale Building
Philadelphia, PA
The Hale Building, designed in the early part of the last century by William G. Hale had sat vacant for years with only the ground floor in use. Most recently a Valu-Plus discount store had been the lone tenant. New owners bought the building with the intent of restoring the building to it’s former glory as the grand dame of Chestnut Street. The owners have repurposed the building back to it’s original use as a creative office space with a coffee shop in the rear and an upscale restaurant facing Chestnut Street. Each of the upper 6 floors will have an open floor plan and expansive views from the historically protected double hung windows.
