Johnny Mananas

As a part of the Allentown downtown renewal project in the PP&L shopping center, the design of Johnny Mananas focuses on creating a dynamic environment full of vibrant colors and imagery. The dining area’s mezzanine was constructed to create additional seating capacity and visual interest with its stacked and rotated architectural elements while the U-shaped bar is adorned with a menagerie of plasma screens, exotic tequilas, and a focus on Mexican folk art. These built architectural elements complement each other to visually connect each end of the restaurant.
