ICON | 1616 transforms the former office building at 1616 Walnut Street into a distinctive residential community in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. Working closely with the Philadelphia Historical Commission and the Preservation Alliance, the 90-year-old building was rehabilitated while preserving defining architectural features, including the Art Deco entrance lobby, original elevator cabs, and penthouse. The adaptive reuse introduces more than 30 unique residential layouts, including bi-level lofts and residences featuring floor-to-ceiling historic woodwork.
