Designed to support both the canal’s visitor experience and commercial cinema operations, the 467-seat venue presents educational programming by day and first-run feature films after hours. A glass-enclosed entry vestibule navigates the site’s steep grade, creating a dramatic arrival sequence that connects visitors from the lower canal embankment to the existing visitor center while highlighting views of ships passing through the locks.
