Naval Square transforms a historic Philadelphia campus into a residential community of condominiums and townhomes through a thoughtful adaptive reuse. Working with Toll Brothers City Living and federal, state, and local historic review agencies, JKRP carefully integrated contemporary residential uses while respecting the site’s significant historic architecture. Today, the community provides housing for residents, including students and employees of the nearby University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University, demonstrating the continued evolution of one of Philadelphia’s most recognizable historic sites.
